I’ve been going down the V8 Miata rabbit hole lately, and specifically what I want is a white NC Club power hardtop with red decals, tacked-on fender flares, bronze wheels, and an LS3 swap with heads, cam, intake manifold, throttle, & headers. But this thing is insane yo.
So kinda like this but the aforementioned extra silly stuff added.

There’s a nice dark blue one with tan interior I keep seeming around town. Looks sweet

I like the looks of the ND a lot too, I just think the NC is easier to live with.
Sure it’s heavier but there’s a little more room to stretch out inside.
There are totally normal cup holders in the doors, not those fiddly removable ones in the ND.
You can put in a regular double DIN stereo. I haven't really cared about car stereo stuff since the early 00s but now just with a double DIN you can add wireless Android Auto and a backup camera.
The big thing is I much much much prefer the PRHT over the RF. I like a power top but I want a full convertible not a targa.
The NC2 Club with the little bit sharpened up front end styling, fun decals and black top really works for me.

Dibs on your NC power train if you go through with the swap. Hoping to make my father in law’s MG Midget my next project car and plan to use the MX5 as a donor vehicle.
